The University has departments that supervise its development, and support international research and innovation. International Cooperation Center is responsible for international research coordination at UMCS and for raising non-budgetary funds to conduct priority projects connected with the development of research and internationalization of University.
The Centre for Knowledge and Technology Transfer is responsible for facilitation and practical application of research results and for finding business entities willing to cooperate in the form of research or training. It supports the development of cooperation with the local environment, coordinates the carrying out of commissioned research, and is concerned with intellectual property protection and commercialization of research results.
