He graduated with honors in 2008 from the Faculty of Law and Administration at the University of Maria Curie-Sklodowska University, receiving the title of master of administration on the basis of the thesis "The Bologna Process - assumptions, the legal basis and the impact on the quality of higher education in Poland."
From the first year of studies he achieved very high academic notes, which combined with his scientific activities has resulted in granting him by the Ministry of Science and Higher Education double-scholarship for scientific achievements. He was also the winner of the university level of the contest Primus Inter Pares (the best student in Poland), and he was awarded during the XXXI Students Speech Contest.
From the beginning of his studies, he has been actively involved in the activities of student self-government, first as its member and then chairman. He was also a member of the Academic Senate of the UMCS, member of the Council of the Faculty of Law and Administration. During the studies, he co-organized several national conferences. He was also an active member of Academic Sport Union – he represented the University in the athletics league and was a member of its board. In 2006 he became a student expert in National Accreditation Commission. On the last year of studies he took an internship at the Department of Theory and Philosophy of Law WPiA UMCS.
In 2005-2007 he completed Postgraduate Studies in Extrajudicial Mediation (Faculty of Law and Administration UMCS) and Postgraduate Studies in Philosophy of the twentieth century (Collegium Civitas). In 2012 he graduated with honors from legal studies at Law and Administration Faculty of UMCS, defending the thesis "The judicial review of administrative decisions." receiving the title of master of law.
Since October 2008 he is employed at the Department of Theory and Philosophy of Law at the Faculty of Law and Administration. During this time he published 15 scientific articles and reports, including 4 in a foreign language. He has participated in more than 20, both national as well as international (including Brazil, Germany, the Czech Republic and Hungary) conferences. He is a lecturer at the Erasmus Teaching Staff Mobility - he was lecturing at the University of West Bohemia (Plzen, Czech Republic) and the Universidad de Jaén (Jaen, Spain). He is a member of the International Association of the Legal and Social Philosophy (IVR).
The main field of his scientific interests are application of law processes conducted by public administration. In this field he has prepared PhD thesis "Discretion of public administration in law application processes”, which defense was held in October 2014. Currently he is performing a research grant funded by the National Science Centre, and he is prime researcher in the second one.
His research interests focus also on the study of the higher education system. Since 2008 he is a legal expert in Polish Accreditation Committee, and from 2013 an expert on quality of the Committee. In 2014 he participated in the legislative process on the amendment of the Act - Law on Higher Education.
In 2013 he was appointed to the Council of Young Scientists at the Ministry of Science and Higher Education. In the same year he was entrusted with the function of Polish Student Ombudsman.
