Krzysztof Bartnik
Born in 1964. Studies at the Faculty of Fine Arts of the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Toruń. Diploma thesis in painting in the studio of prof. Stanisław Borysowski in 1988. Class I and II qualification conduct in the field of visual arts (painting discipline) at the Academy of Fine Arts Władysław Strzemiński in Łódź. Since 1989, he has been working at the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. Currently as a professor at the Painting Department of the Institute of Fine Arts of the Faculty of Arts. He presented his work in numerous individual exhibitions (36- Poland, Czech Republic, France, Croatia) and collective presentations (over 100- Poland, Czech Republic, France, Macedonia, Bosnia and Herzegovina, Australia, Belgium, Ukraine, Hungary, Germany, Lithuania). He participated in many artistic symposia in the country and abroad. His paintings are in private and institutional collections in Poland as well as abroad. He was the curator of a number of exhibitions in the Lublin artistic community.
