The concert inaugurating the academic year 2019/2020 by the Tanquillo Quintet will take place on October 23, 2019 at 18:00 at the University Auditorium in the UMCS Faculty of Law and Administration. Tanguillo Quintet is a Lublin based instrumental band founded in 2003. The music of the Tanguillo Quintet is inspired by the Quinteto Tango Nuevo - a band founded by the Argentine bandoneon master - Astor Piazzolla.The band's music is a combination of perfect technique and precision of implementation with the artistic expression. "Their play is a fire that does not burn, but stimulates the imagination. A variety of styles (i.e. classical music, jazz, sung poetry, flamenco, Russian romances or folk) performed by the band make their tango performance unique.Tanguillo Quintet performs on the stages of Poland, Europe and North America and enjoys the unflagging recognition of the beauty of music in a masterful performance by the the audience.
