The Sports Office is a university unit responsible for, among other things, running academic sports sections in nearly 32 sports disciplines, organizing academic sports events at both the national and international levels, promoting the university through sports, and fostering the integration of the sports community.
One of the responsibilities of the UMCS Sports Office is also to collaborate with Polish sports associations to support the best athletes in balancing their studies with professional sports.
Furthermore, the office is involved in running ministerial programs aimed at supporting student-athletes.
