ABOUT YOURSELF
Born in Biała Podlaska. Graduated from the High School in Terespol n/Bug. Graduate of history at the Faculty of Humanities of UMCS (1984) and political science at the Intercollegiate Institute of Political Sciences of UMCS (1985). In 1990, Professor Trembicka obtained the degree of Doctor of Humanities. In 2002, she received the Team Award of the Minister of National Education and Sport for her contribution to the preparation of a synthesis of Polish political thought. In 2004, she obtained the post-doctoral degree (habilitation) in the humanities in the field of political science. The monograph being the basis for obtaining the post-doctoral degree „The Round Table in Poland. A Study on Political Agreement” (UMCS Publishing House, Lublin 2003) received the Individual Award of the Minister of National Education and Sport (2005) and was nominated for the Jerzy Giedroyc Award, established by the Senate of UMCS in Lublin. In 2014, she obtained the academic title of professor of social sciences. He is the editor of Annales UMCS. Sectio Balcaniensis et Carpathiensis”, member of the Editorial Committee of the journals „Myśl Polityczna. Political Thought” and „Teoria Polityki”.

Expert of the Minister of Science and Higher Education for the assessment of grant applications under the program "Monuments of Polish philosophical, theological and social thought of the 20th and 21st centuries" (2016);
Member of the Council of the Public Opinion Research Center (2018-2020, from 2022);
Member of the Disciplinary Committee of the second instance for scientific and research and technical employees of institutes at the Minister of Education and Science (2021-2022);
Chairwoman of the Advisory Team at the Minister of Education and Science for the program „Development of scientific journals” (2022).
