Scientific Activity

SCIENTIFIC INTERESTS:

Scientific interests include physicochemistry of dispersed systems, with particular emphasis on:

  •  adsorption properties of polysaccharides on metal oxide surfaces
  •  influence of surfactants on adsorption processes of macromolecular compounds
  •  stability of colloidal systems
  •  interactions between polymers and surfactants


THE MOST IMPORTANT SCIENTIFIC ACHIEVEMENTS:

  • Honorable mention of doctoral dissertation by the Council of the Faculty of Chemistry UMCS, 2006.
  • Honorable mention of the Polish Chemical Society in the competition for the best doctoral dissertation defended at the Faculty of Chemistry UMCS in 2006.
  • Collective award of the first degree of the Rector of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University for scientific activity in 2014.
  • UMCS Rector's Award for obtaining the academic degree of dr hab in 2016.
  • Head of the own research project of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education "Examination of adsorption and electrokinetic properties of the system: polysaccharide / surfactant / electrolyte / metal oxide", No. N N204 090438 implemented in 2010-2013.
