VALORIZATION AND EXCELLENCE

My University and myself are embedded in The Measurement Science in Chemistry international consortium of nine European universities accredited by the Euromaster, awarded by the European Chemistry Thematic Network (ECTN). I coordinate activities within the consortium for the Faculty of Chemistry MCSU.

 

RESEARCH AND TEACHING AREAS

Research areas include: application of atomic spectrometry methods in environmental, industrial, clinical, inorganic and bioinorganic trace element determination; sample preparation in food and environmental analysis; synthesis and characterization of sorbents for the separation/ enrichment of selected trace metal ions. The focus of teaching is on trace metals determination, and the metrological and statistical aspects of measurements.
