My research interests are in the area of international economics, particularly the international monetary system, exchange rates, international finance, international economic integration and international logistics. In my research work I am concerned with changes in the configuration of global economic powers and their impact on the international monetary system. In recent years, China's economy has occupied a special place in my research. I am also interested in digital money (central bank digital currencies and cryptocurrencies).
