1. Patent no. PL 224207 B1 granted in 2012 by Polish Patent Office. Title of the patent: "Method for producing porous carbon sorbents". Territory of legal protection – Poland.

2. Outstanding doctoral thesis prize awarded by Dean of UMCS Faculty of Chemistry, 2004

3. Collective II-degree prize for scientific achievement awarded by the Rector of UMCS in 2015

 

Since 2016 I am a member of W. Świętosławski Polish Society of Calorimetric and Thermal Analysis.

Scientific interests:

Synthesis of porous polymeric and carbon materials

Characteristics of physical, chemical and structural properties of polymeric and carbon materials using chromatographic techniques, thermal analysis and spectroscopic methods.

Research on the sorption capability of synthesized materials by solid phase extraction (organic compounds and metal ions)
