We would like to kindly inform you that from May 18, 2020 in the Main Library the readers will be able to borrow and return books in the following hours:

These tasks will be executed in the Lending Room and the Free Access area on the ground floor of the main building of the Library.
All reading rooms in the Main Library remain closed to readers. The Magazine Reading Room will no carry out magazine orders.
In the Library, readers are required to use masks and at the entrance to disinfect their hands in a designated place.
System booking has been disabled as the books must be quarantined .
Books which will not be picked up within 5 days of placing the order will be sent back to the warehouse.

The books can be borrowed from Free Access areas through a librarian. Readers who want to borrow books from Free Access area are asked to write down the domain reference number for the given item from the catalogue in the Available status.
Updating library accounts and re-borrowing books with the extended limit used is possible by email cyrkul@poczta.umcs.lublin.pl or by phone: 81 537 58 02 - during the Library's working hours.
Charging for book keeping does not apply until May 31, 2020.
All information regarding the functioning of the Main Library and specialist libraries will be published on a regular basis.
