Registrations to the Library

Registration at the UMCS Library is carried out in the Lending Library of the Main Library or in the lending libraries of the faculty libraries.

Registration at the UMCS Library requires the completion of a declaration, which includes:
- commitment to the rules of use of the Library,
- confirmation of the truthfulness of personal data with one's signature.

The library account for UMCS students and employees is activated automatically as part of the integration of the library system with the UMCS registration system.
The role of the library card is performed by:

  •  student ID card
  •  doctoral student card
  •  UMCS employee ID card
  •  a card issued by the Library.


Borrowing and ordering books in the computer system is available only to those who have a current account in the UMCS Library, i.e. who have a valid student card or library card.
