You don't have to prepare for classes in advance. You don't need to read entire books either. Just come to the American Corner office and start talking!
For each class, our instructor, Dr. Dominika Bugno-Narecka, prepares a short guiding text in English, which participants read at the beginning of the meeting. They then proceed to talk freely about topics related to the text they read.
Whether you are a beginner or an advanced learner, participation in the Club is an excellent opportunity to improve your language skills in a relaxed atmosphere.
Remember, you don't have to be a UMCS student (or a student at all) to join American Corner events! We also do not require registration, and all of our events are free.
