GALINA GUPAN (UA) Modelling with participants one of the ten 1-hour sessions for internally displaced pupils on the topic of “What values unite us?”, consisting of a number of activities that allow children to reflect on their identity, personal and collective, to understand the significance of values in life and how they influence our behaviour.

OLENA POMETUN (UA) Some general pointers to working with pupils (and colleagues) who have experienced traumatic situations, including discussion of specific classroom activities that can be used for trauma prevention.

GALINA GUPAN (UA)/ MARILYN MEHLMANN (SE) A look into the world of PTSD and PTG (Post-Traumatic Growth), and how narrative elements can be woven into and used for trauma prevention in existing pedagogical approaches. Link to transformative learning and ‘edge emotions’.
14.25-15.30	SESSION 4, alternative 2 Art as a way to foster empathy & imagination, based on the work of Maria Prymachenko. YULIIA KRAVCHENKO (UA) Dissidence as a source of critical thinking is the starting point for this workshop, focused on fostering empathy and solidarity through studying and being inspired by the works of social dissidents in Ukraine.
