On June 17-19, the XIII Congress of the Polish Association of Geomorphologists was held at the University of Łódź. We are pleased to announce that Prof. dr hab. Waldemar Kociuba (Department of Geology, Soil Science and Geoinformatics UMCS) has been elected as Vice-President of the Polish Association of Geomorphologists for the 2024-2027 term. Prof. dr Jean Poesen has been elected as an honorary member of the Association, with the laudation delivered by Prof. dr hab. Maria Łanczont. Congratulations!
