Dear Students, Dear Students,

One of the most important and moving days in your lives is fast approaching. Soon you will become graduates of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin. We want this day to be an unforgettable experience that you will be able to share not only with your classmates, but also with your loved ones who supported you during this extraordinary adventure that is studying at our University. We invite you to participate in the 2025 Graduation Ceremonies!

This year we have prepared a number of attractions for you. Each event will be broadcast online, on university social media. We will raise a joint toast, and two photographers will take care of commemorating the beautiful moments, and you will have at your disposal, among other things, a photo mirror.

We encourage you to participate in the event, and below we present the most important information about the graduation ceremonies.

For whom

The event is open to students at UMCS who defended their diploma thesis (first-cycle studies, second-cycle studies, uniform master's studies) after October 1, 2024, as well as UMCS students who are scheduled to defend their diploma thesis (first-cycle studies, second-cycle studies, uniform master's studies) in June, July, August and September 2025.

This year’s Graduation Celebration will be held:

23.06.2025 r., g. 10.00 – Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, Faculty of Economics, Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Informatics

23.06.2025 r., g. 14.00 – Faculty of Arts, Faculty of Chemistry, Faculty of Languages, Literatures and Cultures, Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology

24.06.2025 r., g. 10.00 – Faculty of History and Archaeology, Faculty of Law and Administration, Branch Faculty in Puławy

24.06.2025 r., g. 14.00 – Faculty of Pedagogy and Psychology, Faculty of Political Science and Journalism, Faculty of Earth and Spatial Sciences 

Signing up

Registration lasts until 19.06.2025 and takes place exclusively via the online form, available HERE

The events are organized in the University Hall, Faculty of Law and Administration of UMCS, pl. M. Curie-Skłodowskiej 5 in Lublin

Among others, the organizers guarantee:

1. The solemn nature of the event,
2. Music,
3. A graduate cap for each participant,
4. A glass of champagne for each participant,
5. Live stream of each event,
6. Photo report from each event,
7. Commemorative diploma,
8. Bouquets of flowers for the Rectors, Deans, and academic teachers present at the event,
9. Academic robes for each participant (rented).

Additional elements at the participants disposal:

Cost of participation in the event:

100 PLN (payments until 30.04.2025)

120 PLN (payment from 01.05.2025 to 15.06.2025)

150 PLN (payment from 16.06.2025 to 19.06.2025)
