The Institute of International Relations of UMCS is pleased to invite the academic community of UMCS and Lublin to the next chapter of our well-known Diplomatic Talks series during which the Institute invites ambassadors to Poland for discussions reflecting on contemporary international relations. The guest of the December meeting is the British Ambassador to Poland Anna Clunes. Wednesday's Conversation will begin with the speech of the Ambassador, who will talk among others, about the British perspective on world order and view of world problems. The meeting will be led by prof. Ph.D. Marek Pietraś, Director of the Institute of International Relations, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. The Ambassador represents His Majesty The King and the UK government in the country to which they are appointed. They are responsible for the direction and work of the Embassy and its Consulates, including political work, trade and investment, press and cultural relations, and consular services.
