The Institute of Political Science and Administration of UMCS is pleased to invite the employees and students of the University to the next meeting of "Diplomatic Talks" cycle. This time we are honoured to host the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany Dr. Thomas Bagger.

Place: Aula A.1.08, Faculty of Political Science and Journalism, Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, Głęboka 45 Street, Lublin
The meeting will be led by prof. dr hab. Marek Pietraś, Director of the Institute of Political Science and Administration of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University.
The meeting will be held in English. The organiser does not provide Polish translation.
About the Ambassador:
Dr. Thomas Bagger has been the Ambassador of the Federal Republic of Germany since July 2022, representing the Federal President in the Republic of Poland.
He maintains close contacts with the Polish government and representatives of the local world of culture and business. As an ambassador, he cares about further deepening of Polish-German relations.
Date and place of birth: the 21st of October 1965, Lüneburg, Germany

1986–1992 - Political Science studies at the Ludwig Maximilian University of Munich (LMU München), International Relations at the Institute of Political Sciences in Paris and administration and politics at the University of Maryland in College Park (Master of Arts), doctoral promotion (doctor rerum politicarum) in 1993 year at LMU München
