On 8-9 February, our guest was Dr Vas Taras, professor at the University of North Carolina at Greensboro (USA) and initiator of the X-Culture project.
The topic of the visit was the planned X-Culture Global Business Symposium in July. Dr Taras met with the Vice-Rector for Development and Cooperation with the Economy, Zbigniew Pastuszak, Professor at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University, and the Dean of the Faculty of Economics, Mariusz Kicia. Together with our guest, we also visited the Lublin City Hall - with the Director of the Department of Strategy and Entrepreneurship, Mariusz Sagan, we discussed the involvement of Lublin businesses in the symposium. An essential part of the visit was the presentation of the venues on the UMCS campus and in the city where the various meetings and events of the X-Culture Global Business Symposium programme would be held.
