Lecture on the problem of bullying at work - delivered as part of the HR Excellence in Research Strategy
Another event as part of the implementation of the HR Excellence in Research Strategy at UMCS.
A lecture on the problem of bullying in the workplace was held yesterday on the MS Teams platform.
The lecture was officially opened by Mr. Vice-Rector for Science and International Cooperation Prof. Wieslaw Gruszecki, PhD, while the lecture was conducted by Prof. Anna Kosut - Head of the Department of Labor Law at the Marie Curie-Skłodowska University.
The lecture was organized in the interest of creating the most friendly work environment and raising awareness of the employees of the University.
During the lecture the following issues were discussed:
The essence and characteristics of mobbing (extra-legal view of the phenomenon).
Legal regulation of mobbing: elements of the definition (persistence and duration of mobbing activities and their purpose), qualification of certain behaviors as mobbing (taking into account court decisions.
Entitlements of the employee under mobbing.
The importance of company anti-mobbing procedures.
