The Ordinance of the Rector
of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin
no. 22/2020
of March 24, 2020
on the realisation of study programmes, doctoral students education programmes,
post-graduate students programmes and other forms of education, using methods and
techniques of distance learning in relation to preventing the spread of
SARS-COV-2 among the community of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University
in Lublin
Pursuant to Article 23 in connection with Article 50 of the Act of July 20, 2018, Law on Higher Education and Science (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 85) and the Regulation of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education of March 23, 2020 in relation to the temporary limitation of the functioning of some entities of the higher education and science system with regard to the prevention, counteracting and eradication of COVID-19 (Journal of Laws of 2020, item 511) and in relation to the ordinance of the Rector of UMCS no. 18/2020 of March 11, 2020 on preventing the spread of SARS-CoV-2 virus at the Maria Curie-Sklodowska University in Lublin, it is ordered as follows:
§ 1.
1. Virtual Campus of UMCS - kampus.umcs.pl;
2. Teams application (Office365) - teams.umcs.pl;
3. USOS system - usosweb.umcs.pl;
4. University electronic mail.
§ 2.
1. The detailed rules of distance education, including the conducting of particular courses and their forms as well as their credits shall be determined by:
1. deans of faculties;
2. directors of general university units;
3. directors of doctoral schools at the University;
4. heads of doctoral studies;
5. heads of postgraduate studies.
2. Classes conducted in the form of distance education with evidenced materials shall be considered as covered.
3. Classes not conducted in the form of distance education shall take place on a suitable date set by students/doctoral students/ post-graduate students and teaching staff members in consultation with the persons referred to in para. 1 points 1-5.
§ 3.
The decision about conducting and completing classes in the form of distance education in the period between March 11, 2020 and the date of entering into force of this Ordinance shall be taken by the persons referred to in para. 1 points 1-5.
§ 4.
The ordinance shall become effective on the day of signature and shall apply until further notice, depending on the development of the situation regarding the spread of the SARS-COV-2 virus.
