Partners' meeting in Rome

From 9th May to 11th May 2018 the DT.Uni team gathered at Sapienza University in Rome for our second partner meeting.

A total of 25 participants representing the academic and managing staff of 8 European Universities, members of the DT.Uni project, came to Rome to summarize the first months of the project implementation and to discuss introduction of further activities planned in the application.

The meeting was a great opportunity to get to know Sapienza University better. The Italian team organized lots of staff meetings, presentations of different university units and various types of activities carried out at Sapienza University. The participants also had a chance to meet the students of the Department of Psychology and Sociology who are taking part in a course on design thinking, taught by prof. Alessandra Talamo and Annamaria Recupero, bothfrom DT.Uni team.

Over the period of 3 days, the Participants discussed the first accomplished activities (i.a. the DT.shop for academics and researchers which took part in April in Dresden) and worked on the plan for further tasks in the project. In the next few months an e-book with good practices in design thinking and interdisciplinarity should be finished and disseminated. Till the end of the year is planning to organize local workshops for academics and researchers (in Lublin, Bratislava, Birmingham and Guarda) and international workshop for management staff (in Birmingham).

The meeting was a great time of rewarding work and developing stronger bonds between the members of the project team.
