The Final Online Conference of the D.T. Uni project took place on 25th November 2020. The participants of the event met with the Zoom platform to learn about the results developed during the projects. We consider the meeting very successful.
Throughout the project we have explored and developed design-led thinking approaches which support innovation in higher education institutions by using a bottom-up approach, i.e. supporting students, researchers, academics and management staff in developing their ability to think and work in a more divergent, creative and design thinking way.
The project has produced a range of Design Thinking online resources* as a result of the knowledge exchange and research undertaken within the partnership of eight universities across Europe. Each output addresses the use of Design Thinking from a different approach or user perspective.
IO1 Best practices – reflective of current interdisciplinary working across European Higher Education
IO2 Applying Design Thinking. A Workbook For Academics And Researchers
IO3 Design Thinking Handbook For Managers In Higher Education
IO4 Design Thinking For Higher Education Students and Teachers (online website resource)
IO5 New Didactic Model
During the event the team have presented the summary overviews of each output which demonstrate how you can utilise these free resources and apply design thinking techniques into your day-to-day work within your own institution/area of work.
