Yesterday, team of DT moderators from our University conducted workshop on design thinking dedicated to students from all HEIs. The online workshop was organized by International Cooperation Center at MSCU.
The event was organized fully online due to the current pandemic situation. We were happy to meet students from various universities: University of Life Sciences in Lublin, Medical University of Lublin, Lublin University of Technology, State University of Applied Sciences in Chełm. During the four-hour online classes, students had the opportunity to learn the method of design thinking, its tools and stages and to put into practice design thinking in solving specific problem. It was an extremely creative time and great opportunity to practice team work.
The group moderators were: Michał Nowakowski and Olga Pliszczyńska-Mokijewska with the support of Barbara Bilewicz-Kuźnia and Grzegorz Janusz.
We would like to thank all participants and moderators and wish that the problem-solving techniques learned during the workshops will be useful in everyday life.
The event was organized as part of the DT.Uni: Design Thinking Approach for an Interdisciplinary University project, implemented by UMCS in cooperation with seven universities from all over Europe: Ekonomicka Univerzita v Bratislave (Slovakia), Birmingham City University (Great Britain), Technische Universitaet Dresden (Germany), Universita Degli Studi di Roma la Sapienza (Italy), Haskolinn a Bifrost (Iceland), Universiteit van Amsterdam (Netherlands) and Instituto Politecnico da Guarda (Portugal). The project is implemented with the financial support of the European Union under the Erasmus + program.
