New Aeration Technologies Improving Water Quality in Agricultural Ponds

We are pleased to announce the latest article by Dr hab. Stanisław Chmiel Prof. UMCS, Dr. Marta Ziółek, Dr. Magdalena Kończak, Dr. Mariusz Pliżga, and MSc Beata Zielińska (Department of Hydrology and Climatology UMCS), which has been published in the journal Sustainability:

Chmiel S.Ziółek M.Kończak M.Pliżga M.Zielińska B., Maliszewski G., Biruk M., Duda-Saternus S., 2024. Assessment of the applicability of compact aerating reactors for the improvement of water quality in a small water body functioning in an agricultural catchment. Sustainability, 16(5629), 1-19. https://doi.org/10.3390/su16135629 LINK

In the article, the authors evaluated the effectiveness of compact aerating reactors in improving water quality in a small water body located in an agricultural area. The research showed that the use of modern aeration technologies can significantly improve the ecological condition of such water bodies, which is crucial for environmental protection in agricultural areas.

The journal Sustainability is highly regarded in the international scientific community, and this publication makes a significant contribution to the development of research on water protection and sustainable agriculture. We sincerely congratulate the authors and encourage you to read the article!
