We are proud to announce that Dr hab. Paweł Zieliński, Prof. UMCS (Department of Geomorphology and Palaeogeography) is co-author of a scientific paper which has been recognised as the most cited article published in the indexed journal GEOLOGOS .

The editors of GEOLOGOS reviewed citations of articles published in Volume 15 of the journal and found that the paper "Climate evolution during the Pleniglacial and Late Glacial as recorded in quartz grain morphoscopy of fluvial to aeolian successions of the European Sand Belt" by Barbara Woronko, Paweł Zieliński and Robert J. Sokołowski turned out to be the one which was cited most frequently in the last 5 years (data from _Web of Science_ and _Scopus_ databases). 26 citations unequivocally testify to the high scientific level of this work.
