Media in America, America in Media: Scientific conference announcement
Media in America, America in media: this is the international scientific conference's title to be held online between 25th-26th March with participants worldwide. The organizers are the Department of English and American Studies and the Department of Media Communication from the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University and the Polish Rhetorical Society. The conference will be conducted in English, in a virtual space. The organizers managed to gather over 40 speakers from around the world to talk about their research on America's image in the media and show the American perspective on the media.
An international workshop will precede it for doctoral students, prepared with the US Embassy's support in Warsaw, which will occur on 22nd March. Dr Jim A. Kuypers and Dr Michael Horning of the Centre for Computer-Human Interaction at Virginia Tech will be mentors during the workshop. More information at https://mediainamericaconference.wordpress.com/
The conference will be held for the third time. Akademicka TV UMCS took it under the media patronage.
