Malwina Kopron wins bronze at IAAF World Championships!
Congratulations to Malwina Kopron (Academic Sports Association of UMCS) who won the bronze medal in the hammer throw final last night at the World Athletics Championships held in London.
For the 22-year old student of UMCS (Faculty of Law and Administration ) the third place at the World Athletics Championships is the biggest achievement of her career.
Malwina Kopron impressed with a comfortable win in the qualifying round, which saw her progress to the final.
The gold medal was claimed by another Polish athlete, Anita Włodarczyk, who outshone the competition to secure her third World Championships title in women's hammer throw.
