As part of the implementation of the HR Excellence in Research Strategy at UMCS, we invite all researchers - especially those who are beginning their careers - to a lecture on career planning.
The lecture will take place on the MS Teams platform on February 24, 2022 from 4:00 to 6:00 pm.
The meeting will be hosted by Prof. Georgiy Kasianov, from the Institute of History and Politics of the Academy of Sciences of Ukraine in Kyiv and Kyiv-Mohyla Academy. Kasianov is one of the most prominent Ukrainian historians who also specializes in political science. Professor will share his experiences in career planning.
Professor Kasianov is currently conducting research and academic activities at the Institute of Political Science and Administration of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University under the supervision of Prof. Marek Pietraś (Director of the Institute). As part of the project Quest of the Past: Politics of History in the 'United Europe' and Around (Actions, Outcomes, end of the 1980s- 2020s), Prof. Kasianov analyzes, among other things, historical politics in contemporary Europe after 1989.
