On Tuesday, June 20, 2017, at 11.30 dr Verita Sriratana (Chulalongkorn University, Bangkok, Thailand) will give a leture titled "On or about 1910 (and 1924). Politics, Modernity and Technology in the Works of Virginia Woolf & Karel Čapek". The lecture will take place in room 537, Faculty of Humanities building.
Dr Verita Sriratana received degrees from Chulalongkorn University in Bangkok, Thailand, as well as University of Warwick, and University of St Andrews, UK. She researches in modernism, feminism, gender studies, biography and autobiography, postcolonialism, and space in literature, culture, and art.
