On January 30 this year a ceremonial meeting summarizing the Hakuna Matata series took place in the academic "Trójka". During the event, foreign students presented their various skills. The "Trójka" was filled with songs, dance and music.
During the gala summarizing the entire project, the university authorities were represented by prof. dr hab. Urszula Bobryk - Vice-Rector for Student Affairs at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University. The meeting was also attended by Dr. Ewelina Panas - Rector's Proxy for Student Affairs and Dr. Marcin Gołębiowski - Director of the UMCS Promotion Center, originator and patron of the project.

On this special evening, the special guests were: members of the UMCS Stanisław Leszczyński Folk Dance Group and the musicians group "Młode Djembe", which specializes in African sounds. Both groups honored the Thursday meeting with dancing, singing and playing instruments.
The winners of the "Talents at UMCS" competition prepared a flashmob. Students invited all participants who were involved in the current series of events to dance. People who in a special way joined in the preparation of meetings from the Hakuna Matata series received awards and words of thanks.
The Thursday meeting was a great opportunity to show talents. Students took part in performances during which they could present a variety of skills. Many of them boasted about the impact their passions and talents have on their surroundings and the people in it. They showed their abbilities in categories such as singing, playing an instrument, calligraphy, drawing, photography and JAM Speech. The evening was held in a nice and warm atmosphere.
