Last weekend, June 8-9, 2024, a field session of the Lublin Branch of the Polish Geographical Society titled "Vistula Treasures between Puławy and Powsin" took place. The scientific presentations during the session concerned research on the natural environment of the Middle Vistula Valley and the Central Mazovian Lowland. These were complemented by points of interest related to regional exploration, economy, and history. Four employees from our Institute - Dr. hab. Przemysław Mroczek, Dr. hab. Jan Rodzik, MSc. Beata Zielińska, and Dr. Krzysztof Siwek - were actively involved both substantively and organizationally in the session. More information about the field session (route, photo report) can be found on the OL PTG website (in Polish). |
