As part of our Discover America program this semester, we had the pleasure and honor of hosting a cohort of 20 bright young students from BISKUPIAK and V Liceum Ogólnokształcące imienia Marii Skłodowskiej Curie w Lublinie in partnership with faculty from the Center for American Studies, MCSU Lublin and featuring guest speakers including prof Wojciech Janicki and Dominik Kufel. The program was co-organized at American Corner by Agnieszka Kaliniak and Chris Ballengee. Participants in the program learned not only about the history, politics, and culture of the United States, but also explored new ways of thinking through difficult and confusing global issues. We want to thank everyone involved for a very enjoyable and productive time this semester. Let's look forward to future collorations and stay tuned for news about our new project "Civic Pathfinders: Director's Cut" coming in the next academic year!
