In not more than 24hrs, the organizers of the initiative - UMCS together for Ukraine managed to collect and pack donated items for people fleeing the conflict in Ukraine. The items include, medical supplies, including first-aid kits, dressing materials and disinfectants, cleaning products, food for direct consumption and with a longer expiration date, as well as clothes, shoes, sleeping bags, blankets and water. The items are set to be delivered to the city of Chmielnicki.
For any persons interested in donating something, the initiative is still ongoing and items can be brought to "Trójka", at ul. Langiewicz in Lublin. Among other initiatives being organized, the University has also gone ahead to create a fundraising portal accessible to all at this link- https://zrzutka.pl/cx62u (UMCS -Together for Ukraine)
