In connection with the current epidemiological threat situation, and thus taking care to maintain the security measures indicated by the Chief Sanitary Inspector and in the recommendations of the Minister of Science and Higher Education, we inform that the authorities of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin have decided to cancel the Open Days, planned for 6 March this year.
At the same time, we would like to add that some of the people from the region or from abroad who, for various reasons, will reach Lublin tomorrow, will be able to benefit from consultations at the university-wide stand and at the information point for foreigners, available in the building of the Faculty of Economics of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (Maria Curie-Skłodowska Square ). The Faces of America event in “Trójka” student canteen on Langiewicza 16 will also take place. In addition, at the turn of March and April, at individual faculties of UMCS, we intend to organize meetings for secondary school students, a series of online webinars and Virtual Open Days.
During the indicated initiatives, young people interested in taking up education at our University will also be able to receive tips on how to get to the desired studies, get acquainted with the recruitment process, as well as learn about many unusual student initiatives as well as exceptional cultural and sports events that are organized at UMCS . We are still open to the organization of presentations and workshops in schools and educational establishments.
