On the 3rd–5th of October, the 5th ATHENA European University Alliance meeting will take place in Porto. The event will be hosted by the coordinating institution of the Alliance, Instituto Politécnico do Porto.
The 3-day agenda includes a plenary session, a meeting of rectors of all ATHENA member universities at the Executive Board, meetings of the Steering Committee and the Student Board, as well as parallel workshops. On the 6th of October, a special meeting dedicated to cooperation with local industry will be organised.
The overall objective of the event is to discuss the results achieved so far in all areas of project’s activities. Another key topic will be the preparation for the next stage of cooperation within the ATHENA Alliance.
The meeting in Porto is going to be yet another step to be taken by ATHENA towards one European University with campuses in nine European countries.
