I hold a PhD in political science. I work as an assistant professor in the Institute for International Relations at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (UMCS) in Lublin. Additionally, I am the director of the American Corner Education and Business Center at the UMCS.
My dissertation thesis was transformational leadership in the United States of America. My Fulbright Junior Research Award grant (2020-21) focused on an analysis of the leadership characteristics of three recent presidents: Bill Clinton, George W. Bush and Barack Obama using the transformational leadership model of Bernard M. Bass.
In 2023 Lexington Books published my first book „Transformational Leadership and the Modern Presidency. Clinton, Bush, and Obama”. I am currently working on my second book „US International Leadership in the Context of the Ongoing War in Ukraine”.
I have been selected for the second term as a Fulbright Program Ambassador.
