For the time of winter semester of academic year 2019/2020 a renovation of “Amor” Dormitory has been planned. Students can apply for on-campus housing only from the beginning of the summer semester of Academic year 2019/2020.
The procedure of applying for on-campus housing is divided into three rounds and only the following groups of students can apply within the time-frame of particular round:
I. First round of applications - from 20th of May until 20th of June 2019
- I to IV-year students of long-cycle programmes,
- I, II-year bachelor’s degree students (3-year programmes),
- I, II and III-year engineer’s degree students (3,5-year programmes),
- I-year students of second-cycle (master’s degree) programmes,
- I, II, III and IV-year doctoral students.
PLEASE NOTE: students and doctoral candidates who have not confirmed that they have been granted a room in one of the dormitories by 20th of July have another chance to do so. Students should provide a print of a document known as a room application by 16th of September to the Office of Student Affairs. It can be delivered in person or send via post. Students are also allowed to send a scan of said document via e-mail to: akademik@poczta.umcs.lublin.pl
II. Second round of applications - from 1st until 20th of August 2019
- For newly accepted candidates for the I year of bachelor, master and doctoral degree
III. Third round of applications – from 24th of August until 15th of September
For newly accepted candidates for the I year of:
- first cycle studies (bachelor's degree),
- second cycle studies (master's degree),
- doctoral degree (PhD candidates).
Applications for on-campus housing should be submitted ONLY via the USOSweb system. Download the application guide:

It is not necessary to print out and submit a paper form of your application!
Applicants with disabilities, requesting a placement in University-provided housing,should deliver copies of documents which confirm circumstances referred to in the application submitted via the USOSweb (if the documents have not already been delivered to the relevant dean’s office):
- in person, to the Commission for Student Dormitories (the Office of Student Affairs of the Centre for Education and Studies Management, “Helios” dormitory, room 5, Monday–Friday, 9:00–14.30) or
- send scans of relevant documents to: akademik@poczta.umcs.lublin.pl
Applicants who are visually impaired, use a wheelchair or walk on crutches should indicate this fact on Page 4 in the USOSweb system.
After 16th September 2019, the Commission for Dormitories will publish the results of the first round of applications for on-campus housing in the USOSweb system.
The choice of assigned places must be confirmed ONLY on the USOSweb platform by 25th September 2019 at the latest.
