Requirements and skills

• Working towards a degree in Architecture
• Creative mindset.
• Hardworking
• Excellent communication skills, confident and proactive
• Good spoken and written English levels are required (B2 onwards)

Main responsibilities

• Feasibility studies to assess whether plans are practical and viable
• Design Development, refining initial designs to detailed technical plans
• Presentation drawings in 2 and 3D
• Preparing planning applications
• Taking part in client meetings
• Site visits and surveys

This is a fantastic opportunity for an enthusiastic and skilled architect intern, who has a love for Architecture, Urban Design, and the Built Environment. You will gain first-hand experience working with the Managing and Associate Directors, in their new Belfast Office, on a wide range of projects from inception, feasibility, scheme design and development through to planning approval and delivery on site. You will experience daily life in a practice and be involved in client facing meetings and presentations and exposed to aspects of starting and running a new practice and be trained in their software systems. This host has experience across multiple sectors and the projects you will be involved in will provide valuable and professional knowledge and skills at the start of your career, in a supportive and friendly environment, and be a great addition to your CV.
