First online meeting: Organizational issues related to the implementation of the project and the budget
On November 18, 2024, the working meeting of the team responsible for implementing the international didactic project titled “Improving Teaching Competencies In Design of New Generation Biomaterials From Wood Waste” took place online via the UMCS Virtual Campus platform. The meeting focused on key issues related to the planned activities and their timely execution. Participants also discussed strategic approaches to developing teaching materials on utilizing waste lignin-containing biomass from the pulp and paper industry to create innovative materials for various economic and industrial applications.
The project manager attended the meeting: dr hab. Monika Wawrzkiewicz and prof. dr hab. Beata Podkościelna and contractors dr hab. Anna Wołowicz, dr Marta Goliszek-Chabros, dr Przemysław Podkościelny, and dr Łukasz Szajnecki from Maria Curie Sklodowska-University in Lublin (UMCS), dr Olena Sevastyanova (The Royal Institute of Technology in Stockholm (KTH), Division of Wood Chemistry and Pulp Technology), and prof. Jadranka Blazhevska-Gilev (University Ss Cyril and Methodius in Skopje (UKIM)).
Administrative Office staff, including mgr Karolina Sokolińska, mgr Oleksandr Shtanhret, and mgr Patrycja Kuryś, attended the meeting to support the activities of leaders and contractors.
Meeting agenda:
#1 Short introduction of all the members of the team;
#2 Presentation and summary of objectives of the project and expected results;
#3 Discussions regarding the increase of the attractiveness of the course for potential students;
#4 Questions from the attendees concerning the deadlines of the deliverables;
#5 Plans for the next meeting.
