On the occasion of Polish Independence Day celebrated on 11 November, the Polish Embassy in Dar es-Salaam invited the Polish community and Tanzanian graduates of Polish universities to a reception.
The event was also attended by Dr. Konrad Czernichowski, currently in Tanzania, and students who stayed at the Faculty of Economics of UMCS as part of the Erasmus program: Josephat Kimbage (2023), Esther Muga, Emmanuel Humba and Fredy Byamungu (2024). The students had very fond memories of their time spent in Lublin and plan to return to study for a master's degree at Maria Curie-Skłodowska University.
