on accommodation of students and doctoral students in the selected UMCS Student Residence Halls during summer holidays in the 2023/2024 academic year
A student/doctoral student applying for the possibility of living in the UMCS Student Residence. Hall during the summer holidays is obliged to fill in the application form constituting Appendix no. 13 to the Regulations on Benefits for Students of Maria Curie-Skłodowska University (Regulations).
The application referred to in sec. 1 should be submitted to the administration of the Residence Hall in which the UMCS student/doctoral student lives in the 2023/2024 academic year or to the administration of the Residence Hall in which he/she would like to live by selecting it from the list referred to in sec. 3 (this shall apply only to UMCS students/doctoral students who do not live in any of the UMCS Student Residence Halls in the 2023/2024 academic year). The application should be submitted by June 26, 2023 at the latest (application form). Submitting an application is not tantamount to receiving a place in a dormitory for the holiday period.
For holiday accommodation, the following UMCS Student Dormitories are designated, with the specified place limits:
- AMOR Dormitory – 50 places
- BABILON Dormitory – 50 places
- FEMINA Dormitory – 70 places
- IKAR Dormitory – 110 places
- JOWISZ Dormitory – 80 places
- KRONOS Dormitory – 60 places
- ZANA Dormitory – 80 places
Deposit/booking fee is charged during the procedure of applying for a place in the UMCS Residence Hall in the 2023/2024 academic year and amounts to 400 PLN. For those residing in any UMCS student dormitory at the start of the holiday accommodation period, the previously paid deposit/booking fee will be applied towards the holiday accommodation and subsequently refunded after meeting the regulatory requirements. Those who have not lived in a student dormitory will be required to pay this fee by July 2, 2024.
