University of Maribor and University of Orléans invite PhD students to the 1st International PhD Conference, entitled Green Transition: Advancing Academia’s Role in Sustainable Innovation.
In the face of climate change and environmental degradation, the imperative for a green transition has never been more pressing. Achieving sustainability requires a concerted effort across all sectors of society, with academia playing a pivotal role in driving innovative solutions. By conducting interdisciplinary research, educating future leaders, and fostering collaboration with stakeholders, academia can accelerate the green transition and pave the way for a more sustainable and resilient world.
The conference aims to bring together PhD students from the ATHENA universities to explore academia’s role in promoting sustainable innovations. Participants will have the opportunity to attend presentations and engage in discussions on various research topics.
