The 4th Scientific Conference "Climate Change in the Geological Past" took place at the Polish Geological Institute (PIG-PIB) in Warsaw on November 22-23. Nearly 70 specialists in Quaternary geology and related disciplines participated in the conference. Among the participants were three people from our Institute: prof. dr hab. Maria Łanczont, prof. dr. hab. Irena A. Pidek and dr hab. Przemysław Mroczek, who presented the following papers:

- Pidek I.A., Hrynowiecka A., Kultys K., Brzozowicz D., Łabęcka K., Terpiłowski S., Żarski M., Zróżnicowany zapis interglacjału eemskiego w profilach osadów organicznych Równiny Garwolińskiej: Puznówka, Żabieniec i Kozłów – studia przypadku (A differentiated record of the Eemian Interglacial in organic sediment profiles of the Garwolin Plain: Puznówka, Żabieniec and Kozłów – case studies).
The topics of the above-mentioned presentations are related to the scientific research carried out within the framework of two NCN grants carried out at our Institute:
