The year 2021 begins with nice information about another highly scored scientific article by Dr Krzysztof Bartoszek (Department of Hydrology and Climatology MCSU) published in Atmospheric Research:
Bartoszek K., Matuszko D., 2021: The influence of atmospheric circulation over Central Europe on the long-term variability of sunshine duration and air temperature in Poland. Atmospheric Research, vol. 251, 105427 DOI:10.1016/j.atmosres.2020.105427
The article deals with the relationship between atmospheric circulation on a regional scale and the sunshine duration and air temperature innPoland in period 1971-2019. Particular attention was paid to the long-term variability of sunshine duration and air temperature in particular circulation types. It was found that a statistically significant increase in the values of both meteorological variables in Poland in recent years was not associated with a change in the frequency of pressure systems and directions of air advection over Central Europe.
According to the current List of Journals of the Ministry of Science and Higher Education, the article published in Atmospheric Research is 100 points.
