We invite you to participate in the 4th National Symposium on Geointerdisciplinary Research Methods (GeoSym2022) organized by the Faculty of Geology of the University of Warsaw, the Faculty of Civil Engineering of the Warsaw University of Technology and the Institute of Earth and Environmental Sciences of the Maria Curie-Skłodowska University in Lublin, which will be held on September 26-29, 2022 at the European Center for Geological Education (ECEG) in Chęciny.
The idea of the Symposium is to gather scientists and entrepreneurs in the field of Earth sciences and civil engineering in various fields, and to exchange experiences and observations in the spirit of geo-interdisciplinarity.
CONFERENCE TOPICS:
● Innovative directions of geological and engineering environment research;
● Sustainable development and the geological environment;
● Geohazards - identification of processes and modeling of phenomena;
● Reconstruction of the human natural environment and its activity in geoarchaeological research;
● Prospects and challenges for the protection of geological and cultural heritage;
● Geoparks, geoeducation, geotourism;
● Application of geophysical methods in geo-environmental and engineering research;
● Current aspects of the construction substrate identification;
● Application of remote sensing techniques in the assessment of the geo-environment and engineering structures;
● Cooperation of the building object with the ground.
