We are very pleased to announce that Professor Maria Łanczont from the Institute of Earth and Environmental Sciences MCSU, as a result of the nomination by the National Science Centre on 1 February 2021 became a member of AcademiaNet - a prestigious portal for outstanding women in science. AcademiaNet accepts female candidates proposed by scientific bodies and science funding institutions and is administered by the Swiss National Science Foundation.
The most important criterion used for selection to AcademiaNet is excellent academic qualifications as measured by the standards of the candidate's scientific discipline and scientific maturity.
