The UMCS Latin American Students Club invites you to a lecture by Ola Synowiec on the subject of "Mexican handicrafts and folk costumes". The lecture will be held on January 13 (Thursday) at 18.00 on the MS Teams platform in the UMCS Latin American Circle team, team code: ydruujd.
Ola Synowiec is a writer, journalist and Latin Americanist. She lived in Mexico for nine years and wrote about this country in the Polish and foreign press. Her articles can be read in such publications as: "BBC Travel", "Duży Format", "Focus", "Post-tourist", "Znak", "Rzeczpospolita". She is the author of guides to Mexico, the "Mexico Magico Blog" website, and the book Children of the Sixth Sun. What does Mexico believe "published by Wydawnictwo Czarne in 2018. Wydawnictwo Czarne will also publish her next book about Mexico soon. Since 2011, she has been giving lectures and workshops on Mexican issues and is also involved in education on post-colonialism and ethical travel.
