The history of Easter eggs - Prof. Katarzyna Smyk
Easter eggs in Polish culture are an inseparable element of the Easter period. We cordially invite you to watch the video with Prof. Katarzyna Smyk from the Faculty of Humanities, the Institute of Culture UMCS.
The Professor tells us about the history of colourful Easter eggs that have been present in Polish culture for many years. Additionally, depending on the country's region, Easter eggs take different forms, colours and patterns. Plain, empty eggshells turn into masterpieces showing the customs of a given region.
