On June 13, 2019, the 22nd MCSU Rector’s Cup Run took place in the Academic Park. 95 runners competed in individual race while 10 five-person teams from eight faculties and MCSU Academic Sports Association took a relay race.
The winners of the relay run were the representatives of Faculty of Economics: Ewelina Berlińska, Małgorzata Podkańska, Michał Kitliński, Cezary Mirosław, Łukasz Jasiński.
The second place was taken by Faculty of Chemistry represented by Ilona Mandziuk, Aldona Nowicka, Paulina Madejska, Michał Piróg, Mateusz Ochab, while the third – Faculty of Mathematics, Physics and Computer Science (Eliza Jackowska-Boryc, Maria Shpak, Szymon Żywko, Tymoteusz Chojecki, Przemysław Matuła).
Further places were occupied by the representatives of Faculty of Humanities (team 2 and team 1), Faculty of Political Science, Faculty of Philosophy and Sociology, Faculty of Biology and Biotechnology, MCSU University Sports Association and Faculty of Law and Administration.
The first place in the Open category was won by Michał Piróg (a student of chemistry), the second by Adam Grudziński (a student of social creativity), the third – by Mateusz Gajur (a student of finance and accounting). All of these runners were in the M 20-29 category.
The ladies competition was won by Joanna Szmit, a graduate of tourism and recreation, followed by Małgorzata Podkańska, a student of logistics and Ilona Mandziuk, a student of chemistry. All the three runners were in the K-20-29 category.
